We provide a range of treatments at both clinics, please see below for more details and contact us for more details or to book an appointment. Please note that some treatments are only available at certain clinics.

If you are unsure if you should have any treatment, please consult your GP or primary health care specialist.

Chiropractic treatments, Podiatry treatments and Sports Massage are available at both Uckfield and Hailsham Clinics.

Chiropractic Treatments

Available at both Uckfield and Hailsham Clinics

Chiropractors are best known for manual treatments  such as spinal manipulation, where they use their hands  to free stiff or restricted joints, or mobilisation, which is the gradual moving of joints.

But they may also use other techniques such as certain types of acupuncture, electrotherapy, stretching exercises and rehabilitation, all of which form part of a chiropractor’s package of care. Your chiropractor may also offer lifestyle advice to help prevent repeated episodes of neck pain.

If your chiropractor does not think you can be helped by chiropractic treatment, you may be referred back to your GP or to another health professional. Chiropractors do  not prescribe medication, so if this is needed, you may  be referred back to your GP. As chiropractors support a joined-up approach to care, they may ask if they can  send a brief report to your GP.

Podiatry Treatment

Available at both Uckfield and Hailsham Clinics

Also specialising in musculoskeletal and biomechanical assessments of the feet, legs and hips for the treatment of painful and chronic conditions.  Expert in the provision of custom orthotics, and the treatment of verruca pedis, fungal nails and ingrown toenails (minor surgical procedures carried out).

See the Uckfield Podiatry website for more details.

Sports Massage

Available at both Uckfield and Hailsham Clinics

Sports Massage is with our highly qualified Olympic therapist who works in close conjunction with our chiropractors.

For sports persons, sports and remedial massage can be used in injury prevention and rehabilitation; and also in preparation for and recovery from sports events, helping you keep your training on target.

Sports and remedial massage is not the sole reserve of athletes. It’s a deep and more technical treatment that helps to restore normal/optimal function, relieve muscular aches and pains, and improving balance and flexibility; therefore benefiting the non-athlete as well.

We also offer Kinesiology Taping as part of our treatment program.

Try Sports Massage for tight and tired muscles, in the neck and shoulders, tight calves or hamstrings. And conditions such as Shin Splints, Tennis Elbow, Shoulder Impingement and many others.

Bowen Technique

Only available at our Uckfield Clinic

Bowen Technique is a subtle and relaxing hands-on restorative therapy over connecective tissue. There is no use of manipulation, adjustments, massage or equipment. Due to its gentle nature it is suitable for everyone from babies to the elderly, for acute problems and injuries to chronic conditions, palliative care as well as in pregnancy.

Bowen uses precise rolling type moves which gently stimulate soft tissue, muscles, joints, the circulatory and lymphatic systems.

Try Bowen for: stress and anxiety, painful muscles, ME, fibromyalgia, asthma, digestive problems and more.

Alongside your treatment, I may offer advice about improving your lifestyle to balance your way of life.

  • Improve circulation
  • Break down tension in those knotty areas
  • Stretch muscles to release tightness
  • Invigorate the nerves
  • Reduce cellulite
  • Release physical pain
  • Improve mood

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone Massage combines relaxing warmth and refreshing coolness to encourage the body to detox and heal.  This also increases lymph flow and helps to flush out waste.  Hot stone massage is said to have health benefits for people with muscular pain, poor circulation, rheumatic and arthritic conditions, fibromyalgia, back pain, stress, insomnia and depression.

Hot stone massage will help you feel nurtured, pampered and revived.

Reiki Treatment

Only available at our Uckfield Clinic

Reiki is using Chi or life force energy. When our Chi energy flows freely we feel healthy and full of vitality. However, when it becomes blocked or depleted we can often feel lethargic and prone to the effects of stress or illness. Amongst the many benefits of having Reiki is reducing stress, lessening anxiety, helps pain management, enhances your well-being, greater self-awareness and stronger self-esteem. Reiki can be used alongside other conventional or complementary treatments.

You are fully clothed during a treatment and can be seated on a chair or lie down on a couch with a cozy blanket placed on you. During a Reiki treatment hands are placed at a distance or are placed on specific areas that need more focus for Chi energy to be channeled to you. You may feel tingling, warmth or experience your mind clearing and calming down.

I would recommend 3 – 4 treatments to start with to feel the benefits of Reiki and then as often as you like, to keep yourself balanced, grounded and continue to enhance your well-being.
